Beschreibung
There is nothing shy about Cobalt Blue. It carries the kind of saturated metallic character that can change the visual weight of a vehicle immediately, especially across wide panels and pronounced body lines.
Key Attributes
- Protective TPU helps guard painted panels against stone chips, road debris, and light everyday abrasions.
- The film installs dry. Air-release channels help manage trapped air, while repositionable adhesive gives installers room to adjust placement.
- For everyday care, fine surface marks can recover with heat and the hydrophobic top coat helps water and grime release more readily.
Cobalt Blue sits in a strong performance-blue direction rather than a pale, muted, or greyed one. That makes the color an active part of the vehicle’s styling. It can work with dark exterior details for contrast, but it has enough presence to carry the transformation even when the rest of the build stays relatively simple.
OEM Match
- BMW Marina Bay Blue Metallic: The closest OEM reference for Cobalt Blue’s saturated metallic blue direction.
Naturally, a BMW M3 or M4 is easy to picture in this color family. Cobalt Blue can become more interesting when that familiar performance-blue direction moves onto a different canvas, from a Porsche Macan to a Tesla Model 3. Choose it when a strong blue transformation is the goal, with Color PPF protection added over the vehicle’s painted panels.
