Twenty two percent visible light transmission is the balance point for side glass, dark enough for privacy and glare control while leaving the driver’s peripheral view intact. Total solar energy rejection reaches 63% and ultraviolet rejection exceeds 99%.
Internal reflectance is held to 6% against 8% external, which is unusual for a sputtered film and directly improves night driving comfort. The metallic stack delivers infrared performance that ceramic films in the same price band do not reach.
